Ramjet Full Exhaust System Ram 1500 5.7L 2012-2023
★★★★★Most exhausts chase noise.
We chased airflow.
Australian-delivered Ram 1500s run the 5.7L HEMI, not the 6.2L. Ramjet engineered a complete header-back system to close that gap. Dyno-developed, hand-built, and measured in torque, not decibels.
Built to move 2.5 tonnes
The Tri-Y layout is a deliberate choice. It generates the deep mid-range torque a heavy truck lives on (towing, overtaking, pulling away loaded) while keeping the hard-charging top end of a 4-into-1.
These are the longest Tri-Y headers available for the Ram 1500, with double-stepped primaries that hold gas velocity and sharpen scavenging across the entire rev range.
Pulse-balanced, drone reduced
A true internal X-pipe balances exhaust pulses between both banks of the HEMI, improving flow efficiency and sharpening throttle response while reducing the flat highway drone cheaper systems leave behind.
The centre muffler tunes the HEMI’s voice without choking it. A deeper, cleaner note, with no restrictive box buried in the flow path.
Where the two banks become one
A precision-engineered race crossover merge balances exhaust pulses between both cylinder banks, blending them into a single, unified flow path. It reduces cabin drone while sharpening scavenging, actively drawing spent gas out so the next cylinder breathes cleaner.
The payoff is measured, not marketed: cleaner airflow, sharper throttle response, and stronger torque right across the rev range.
Finished like it’s on show
Every section is full polished 304 stainless. No mild steel hiding under a coating, no aluminised tube rusting from the inside out. Precision-welded, accurately fitted, and built to look like jewellery under the truck on day one and day three thousand.
Ramjet Full Exhaust Review
Every millimetre, accounted for
Header-back. Complete.
Not a cat-back. The full system from the exhaust ports to the tips. The only way to free airflow where the power is actually made.
Direct bolt-on
No cutting. No welding. All gaskets and mounting hardware included. Fitted at any exhaust shop, or at home with a hoist.
Tuned, then proven
Developed on the dyno by a championship race team. It bolts on and drives; a tune clears the light and unlocks the full gains.
A cat-back changes the sound.
This changes the engine’s breathing.
Fitted. Driven. Reviewed.
Verified feedback from Ram 1500 owners running the Ramjet full system.
Race-proven.
Not marketing-proven.
Ramjet Performance systems are designed and dyno-developed by the GM Motorsport race team, applying design principles proven in V8 Supercars and NASCAR. Every system is built by the same people who race what they engineer.
Questions, answered
Which Ram 1500 variants does this suit?
Australian-delivered Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI V8, 2012–2023, in both Classic (DS) and Limited (DT) body styles with standard wheelbase. It does not suit the Crew Cab Long Bed (153.5″ wheelbase). Choose your body style in the configurator above.
How loud is it?
You decide. Quiet, Medium and Loud interchangeable sound sections all deliver identical performance. Only the volume changes. The integrated X-pipe keeps highway drone out of the cabin.
Is it a true bolt-on?
Yes. It fits as a complete header-back package with no cutting or welding. All gaskets and mounting hardware are included; header bolts are sourced separately (M8 × 25mm).
Do I need a tune?
It bolts on and drives as supplied. A check-engine light will appear without a tune; a tune clears it and unlocks the full available gains.
