Why injection-moulded plastic?
Aluminium soaks up engine-bay heat and passes it to the intake air. Ramjet housings are pressure injection-moulded in OEM-grade plastic, which keeps intake air cooler and denser, with OEM-level fit and consistent wall thickness.

A Ramjet OTR intake is behind the fastest cam-only VE/VF (10.67 @ 128mph), and in the 2014 Motor Magazine Hot Tuner a Ramjet-equipped VF set the fastest lap of all Australian RWD cars and the highest engine output for a bolt-on-only VF.
Frequently asked questions
MAF or MAF-less? +
Both are available on the Ramjet 3. The MAF version will usually run safely on the factory tune, though a custom tune is strongly recommended. The MAF-less version requires a tune.
Which intake fits my Commodore? +
The Ramjet 3 fits Holden VE and VF V8 models. The Ramjet 2 fits Holden VT, VX, VY and VZ V8 Commodores, including HSV.
